What is going on with the SURE-P program in Delta State?

I would have thought that since the SURE-P program was a Federal Government initiative it should have impacted on the lives of all Deltans either directly or indirectly as we all and not just a politically selected few make up this great FEDERATION of ours.

It is a sad thing really, cause if my MATH serves me well, 1.6Billioion Naira to 25 LGAs means they each get about 64 Million Naira. it would be interesting to know what the population of Oshimili South Local Government Area is though in order to show people how much money if they allow the INTERIM Chairman and her boss the Governor to get away with not accounting for the money.

The thing with people committing an alleged crime and being allowed to get away with it is that they will become emboldened and will most likely do worse the next time around. I propose that we have a peaceful SHOW ME THE SURE-P walk to the Government house in protest of the miss management of the funds provided by the LG and if truly the funds where utilized for the good of our people, then let those who are responsible to our people let us all know what they did with the funds.

This disregard and nonchalant management of public funds will not stop until something is done to stop it. Will keep you updated. God bless
